Clinique Even Better Foundation SPF15

After the sad story of MAC Face and Body breaking me out, I kept thinking on what foundation to try out next for my kit. I was especially disappointed with MAC because it is so popular and I hardly ever had such a reaction from any other foundation. Of course, I don't want to risk and cause break outs for my beautiful clients. I have a friend who has an extremely sensitive skin and the only brand she ever uses that doesn't cause her any skin problems whatsoever is Clinique. I went ahead and purchased Clinique Even Better Makeup with SPF15.
This foundation is an oil-free formula designed for skin types 2 and 3 (Dry combination\ Combination oily). It is supposed to even out your skin tone.
I got my-pale-self the lightest shade they have, which is Linen. I kind of freaked out when I got some of the foundation out of the tube - it was clearly very very yellow. But it oxidized after application and adjusted to my skin tone. I guess the yellow part is the "even better" correcting portion of it, so it will be especially great for people that have a lot of redness.
I tried it all the different ways: on bare skin, moisturized skin, moisterized+primed skin.
On bare skin it was a little too drying for my taste. Other two ways worked great, the finish is natural.
It stayed all day long in either case without setting powder (I never use setting powder anyways since my skin is dry, but I read a lot of good reviews from people with oily skin type). It doesn't look like you have any foundation on. And as a bonus it also covered\corrected my under-eye dark circles. Not 100%, but it is great if you don't have much time in the morning for all the correcting\concealing routine. With corrector underneath it gave me a flawless look.

I am still not unsure of the SPF part, because it is supposed to be not so great for photography. I did take pictures of myself with a flash and they turned out to be ok, but I am not a pro.
Overall, I am really happy with the foundation and will stock up on some other shades for my kit.
