HOT drugstore products + swatches.

I made yet another drugstore products purchase, this time online. And I loved everything I got, thanks to online research. When I am in the actual store I tend to grab things emotionally. I do that online, too, but then I can sleep over and decide the next day what is a keeper in the shopping cart and what is not.
Anyways, here are great makeup items worth considering:

Wet n Wild
Color Icon Collection Eyeshadow Set, Comfort Zone 738
$4.99 at drugstore.com

I bought this palette pretty much for the duo-chrome eyeshadow on the right bottom corner. It is a stunning peacock color. I did a smoky-eye the other day and it looked amazeballs!
Other shades are very nice, too. They are all shimmery, so, please don't use them as Wet n Wild suggests you to unless you want to look like a drag queen. The shadows are embossed with misleading "Browbone", "Eyelid", "Crease", "Definer"
Left row of 4 shades in the palette. Left to right: Definer, Crease, Eyelid, Browbone
Browbone and Eyelid are beautiful princess-y colors. Both are great to throw all over the lid.

Right row of 4 shades in the palette. Definer, Crease, Eyelid, Browbone
I hope you can see from the swatch how amazing the Definer shade is. OMG, I am ready to wear it every day, that's how much I love it. The Browbone shade is incredible, but I would never use it as Browbone shade.
All the shadows are quite creamy with slight amount of fall outs. Most of them blend well.

Physicians Formula
Mineral glow Pearls Powder Palette, Translucent Pearl 7040
$13,98 at drugstore.com

I have no idea why they call it a Palette, it is a highlighter.
They have 4 different shades, I got Translucent Pearl hoping to cover all skin tones, but I do think this one will only be good for white girls.

It comes with a flat brush and mirror. I wouldn't use this brush, though. When I first applied the highlighter, I looked in the mirror and couldn't see anything, so I applied more. Then I moved to a different part of my room with more sunlight - holy cow - I was shining like a star at a certain angle. I am warning you, be careful with this sucker. I recommend using a fluffy eyeshadow blending brush, so that you don't pick up a crazy amount of powder.
But if applied sparingly it looks gorgeous. It is a little on the cool side, almost  with blue-ish-pinky undertone.
I hope you can see it from the swatch:

Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum, Deep Brown 7366
Got it on sale for $9.89 at drugstore.com. Regular price $10.95

Again, Physicians Formula, what the heck with the name of the product? It is a brown eyeliner.
The reviews and raves about this product don't lie. It is a great eyeliner. The packaging is so slick. Eyeliner is easy to use and long lasting. Not sure about the boosting+serum part, but I don't really care. The applicator gives you the thinnest possible line. Swatch is above next to the highlighter.

Revlon
Precision Lash Adhesive
On sale at drugstore.com for $3.99, I got 2 since it was Buy 1 get 1 50% off, so it was a pretty good deal. Regular price $4.99, 0.17 fl oz. Compare to Duo Lash Adhesive $5.99 0,25 fl oz.

Two reasons to buy Revlon lash glue instead of Duo lash glue:
1) Glue applicator gives you precision

2) It is latex-free, thus allergies are excluded
Both of the glues dry clear, are waterproof and hold your falsies well.

L.A. Girl
Pro Conceal HD Concealer, Natural
$2.99 at drugstore.com. I don't know if this is for limited time only since it is a new brand for the web-site (or not). Price at L.A.girl official site is $5 a piece.

I honestly forgot I bought it until today's morning when I planned my blog posts. So I am only judging this concealer by application and 4 hours wear.
First of, I am not a big fan of the packaging, because it is hard to pump out the needed amount of the concealer, it pumps much more than you need. Make sure to shake it well before use to combine the ingredients, since the watery part seems to separate from the rest of the concealer.
But I DO love the formula: it is lightweight but at the same time it covers well and is buildable without getting cakey. It has a smooth almost velvety finish, I set it with the powder and so far it looks great. I would especially recommend this concealer for people with dry under-eye skin. My first impression of the concealer is very positive.
